Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. She and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics as when she was six years old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next eleven years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. A year later Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles distinguished herself by being consistent, having an exuberant energy and joyful personality. She also integrated the most difficult of exercises to all her activities - vault uneven bar floor exercises.
