Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, singer in playback and musician, who is predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. She first made an appearance with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea is a young girl who started classical piano lessons at age eight, is called an "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatric patient until her 12th grade examination. In her twenties, she became an active member of the band called Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the base of her early performing and music composition career. She also worked as a theatre performer in college. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her journey acting in the theatre, with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She was also in an episode that was telecast on Podhigai. She's performed in India. The brief appearance was during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to appear as one of his lead female characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani an housewife, who's husband is involved in been involved in an affair. She was threatened with a blackmail. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu as well as other actors were invited to audition for the role. The film was released during the first half of 2010. In 2011, she agreed to perform a tiny supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which premiered in August of 2011. Her Malayalam film debut alongside The Annayum of Rajeeev Rahthi in Rasoolum in the year 2013.
