Alicia Silverstone born 4th October 1976, Hillsborough California. Parents Monty Silverstone & Deidre Ragford. There are also half-siblings that are from the previous marriage of her father. She is from a middle-class background and was brought up within San Francisco. When she was six years old, she began modeling and was featured in Domino's Pizza's debut TV commercial. Silverstone attended Crocker Middle and San Mateo High Schools. She was in 1992 when she appeared as her first role that was credited to her in the show The Wonder Years. Critics and the audience praised her for the part that she won. In the same year she appeared on two Aerosmith's songs videos Cryin as well as Amazing. In 1993, she was featured in TV movies such as Torch Song and Scattered Dreams. Then, in 1994, she played a major role in the television film Cool and the Crazy. The character of Cher in the cult sleeper movie Clueless gave her an opportunity to break into the industry as an actress.
